Calling all swimming clubs in the Midlands

An exciting opportunity has arisen to take part in a huge study investigating organizational stress in swimmers.

Esmie Smith is currently studying MSc Sport and Exercise Psychology at Loughborough University. She has a huge interest in the psychological functioning of swimmers, having coached swimmers and been a swimmer herself.

Calling all swimming clubs in the Midlands:  Esmie is looking for swimmers currently swimming at County, Regional or National level (age 14 years and over). The study is non invasive and will require swimmers to fill out four questionnaires over 6/7 months (Jan-Aug 2012).

Esmie will provide swimming clubs with exciting workshops/presentations on sports psychology in swimming, results of the study and the implications this has on swimmers, coaches, and parents.

If you are interested please contact Esmie via email e.smith-11@student.lboro.ac.uk
