Go Swimming has everything you need to know about swimming. If you are a parent, a non swimmer or just want to improve your technique this is the section for you.

In British Swimming you will find information about the world of high performance sport, including the disciplines of Swimming, Diving, Synchronised Swimming, Water Polo and Para-Swimming.

The ASA is the governing body for the sport in England. In this section you will find all you need to know about joining a club or competing in England and becoming a swimming teacher or coach.

The IoS delivers the ASA’s courses and is a member organisation. Whether you are a teacher, coach, employer or club you will find everything you need to know about qualifications or educating your workforce.

National Young Coaches Academy seeks aspiring aquatic coaches for 2013/14!

If so, young coaches are encouraged to apply to be a part of the Youth Sport Trust’s National Young Coaches Academy (NYCA), a 12 month development programme of mentoring and support developed in partnership with the ASA.

Apply to become one of the 20 young coaches to attend the Academy alongside 180 young coaches from across 10 different sports, where you will be provided with the opportunity to focus on yourself as a coach, consider what type of coach you want to be and understand how to create a coaching environment in which your participants feel valued and included. Be inspired, motivated and challenged by top-level deliverers and coach to really understand what it will take for you to develop and achieve your personal best. You will then enter onto a 12 month development programme where the ASA will provide further mentoring and sport specific development opportunities within your aquatic discipline to ensure you can become the coach you want to be.
