Go Swimming has everything you need to know about swimming. If you are a parent, a non swimmer or just want to improve your technique this is the section for you.

In British Swimming you will find information about the world of high performance sport, including the disciplines of Swimming, Diving, Synchronised Swimming, Water Polo and Para-Swimming.

The ASA is the governing body for the sport in England. In this section you will find all you need to know about joining a club or competing in England and becoming a swimming teacher or coach.

The IoS delivers the ASA’s courses and is a member organisation. Whether you are a teacher, coach, employer or club you will find everything you need to know about qualifications or educating your workforce.

Nominate Your Club for a Sport and Recreation Award!

The Sport and Recreation Alliance are now accepting nominations for their annual awards with cash prizes up for grabs!

The annual awards recognise recreational organisations, bodies and clubs for the work they do in their communities within the six categories for nominations:
 

  • Volunteer Management
  • School Links
  • Professional Club Community Project of the Year Award
  • Green Thinking
  • Innovative Project Award
  • Overall Community Sport and Recreation

The winner of the first five categories are awarded £1,000 whilst the winner of Overall Community Sport and Recreation will scoop a cash prize of £2,500!

The ASA are keen for as many clubs as possible to nominate themselves and will gladly endorse any applications from those that have achieved Swim 21 accreditation.

The deadline for nominations is 5pm on Sunday 4th May and the winners will be present at an award ceremony on 9th July 2014 at St. James Palace London, by HRH Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex.
