First up in the finals session of day 6 was Derventio eXcel Captain Kane Haggett in the semi-finals of the 50m Free. Kane had a great start and blasted an outside smoker to qualify 4th for tomorrows final in a lifetime best of 22.75.

The inaugural Derbyshire Disability Swimming Development Day was held at Alfreton Leisure Centre on 19th February, and brought together around 12 swimmers and 21 teachers and coaches from around the County.

Sport England’s Inspired Facilities Fund Second Round has now opened
Round 2 is open from 1st February 2012 to 2nd April 2012. The 3rd round will open 23rd July to 17th September 2012 and 2 further rounds will take place in 2013/14
