In British Swimming you will find information about the world of high performance sport, including the disciplines of Swimming, Diving, Synchronised Swimming, Water Polo and Para-Swimming.

The ASA is the governing body for the sport in England. In this section you will find all you need to know about joining a club or competing in England and becoming a swimming teacher or coach.

The IoS delivers the ASA’s courses and is a member organisation. Whether you are a teacher, coach, employer or club you will find everything you need to know about qualifications or educating your workforce.

For all you long awaited swimmers, the qualifying times for the midland championships are out!!

There is now a new website for the Midland Championships http://www.midlandchampionships.org.uk/

Following some changes to the national age group and youth programme, as detailed in the November Swimming Times (Page 13) there is one change to the Regional programme for 2012 detailed below:

The 14 year old girls events will be swum in the Age Group Championships and not in the Youth Championships.

Also on the new website you can find information and entry pack to The Central Zonal Meet, this has been put centrally on the Midland Championship site so that there is only one set of documents to control.  The Sportsystems entry file will be available shortly at the same location.
