In British Swimming you will find information about the world of high performance sport, including the disciplines of Swimming, Diving, Synchronised Swimming, Water Polo and Para-Swimming.

The ASA is the governing body for the sport in England. In this section you will find all you need to know about joining a club or competing in England and becoming a swimming teacher or coach.

The IoS delivers the ASA’s courses and is a member organisation. Whether you are a teacher, coach, employer or club you will find everything you need to know about qualifications or educating your workforce.

The ASA East Midland will again host a number of CPD’s and seminars alongside their Annual Council Meeting, on September 10th 2011. The courses, listed below, are available to teachers, coaches and volunteers and some are available free of charge. The seminars also come with lunch AND a motivational talk from a guest speaker.

Please take a look at what is on offer and if you wish to participate fill in the attached booking form specifying which course(s) you are attending and if neccessary include payment. 

The East Midland ASA Annual Council Meeting will be held at 1.30pm on Saturday 10th September 2010.  The venue is: SportPark, 3 Oakwood Drive, Loughborough, LE11 3QF.

Prior to the Annual Council Meeting there will be a series of seminars, the day will begin at 9.30am and the seminars will run until 12.30pm when we will break for lunch, the Annual Council Meeting will begin at 1.30pm.
