Go Swimming has everything you need to know about swimming. If you are a parent, a non swimmer or just want to improve your technique this is the section for you.

In British Swimming you will find information about the world of high performance sport, including the disciplines of Swimming, Diving, Synchronised Swimming, Water Polo and Para-Swimming.

The ASA is the governing body for the sport in England. In this section you will find all you need to know about joining a club or competing in England and becoming a swimming teacher or coach.

The IoS delivers the ASA’s courses and is a member organisation. Whether you are a teacher, coach, employer or club you will find everything you need to know about qualifications or educating your workforce.

Entries Open for East Midlands Disability Champs

Entries are now open for the East Midlands Regional Disability Championships on Sunday 20th October. The event, run under DSE Swimming Rules, is taking place at Waendel Leisure Centre in Northamptonshire, with registration from 12.30pm. This competition is open to any swimmer with a disability, physical, sensory or learning disability.

Entries are now open for the East Midlands Regional Disability Championships on Sunday 20th October. The event, run under DSE Swimming Rules, is taking place at Waendel Leisure Centre in Northamptonshire, with registration from 12.30pm.

This competition is open to any swimmer with a disability, physical, sensory or learning disability, unless they have been deemed not eligible for classification.
Swimmers should indicate on their entry form their relevant:

  • IPC classification
  • British Swimming classification
  • UKSA or INAS classification (accompanied by relevant number)
  • UK Deaf Sport classification
  • British Blind Sport classification
  • Where swimmers are on the classification waiting list please enter W/L.

Swimmers from outside the East Midland Region are welcome to attend, but please note that should the event reach capacity swimmers from the East and West Midlands will receive priority. All events will be swum mixed gender and classification.
