Go Swimming has everything you need to know about swimming. If you are a parent, a non swimmer or just want to improve your technique this is the section for you.

In British Swimming you will find information about the world of high performance sport, including the disciplines of Swimming, Diving, Synchronised Swimming, Water Polo and Para-Swimming.

The ASA is the governing body for the sport in England. In this section you will find all you need to know about joining a club or competing in England and becoming a swimming teacher or coach.

The IoS delivers the ASA’s courses and is a member organisation. Whether you are a teacher, coach, employer or club you will find everything you need to know about qualifications or educating your workforce.

For all club members/ volunteers within the East Midland Region, we are once again holding our Teacher Training Day/ Annual Council Meeting at SportPark on Sunday 15th September 2013.

For further details all the links are below and will be updated in due course.

The advertisement for all courses being held on Sunday 15th September 2013 is below and also details of how to book on any of the 5 CPD's, you will also have the opportunity to attend the ACM of the ASA East Midland Region which shall run from 1:30 - approx 3:30pm where any Aquaforce winners shall be presented with their prestigious awards.

Food will be provided for all attendees of the courses and also those wishing to eat before attending the ACM, which is when BAFTA winner, Channel 4 presenter and former Paralympian who still holds several European swimming records, Rachel Latham will be giving us a motivational speech while we enjoy the food!

As always at the ACM there will be elections of representatives to the Counties, Regions and National boards.

Any issues with the Annual Report 2013 will be brought up and discussed, as will be any changes to constitution, rules or ASA Law.

If you would like to attend any courses, they are filling quickly, so get signed up and we hope to see you at the ACM to represent your club and find out how any changes during the next year will benefit/ affect you.
