Molly Renshaw (Derventio eXcel) broke the English senior record as well as her own British Junior short course 200m Breaststroke record at the European Short Course Championships in Poland.

Molly Renshaw was in action in the final of the 200m Breastroke. She clocked new personal best times in the heats to qualify her place in the final on Dec 9th.

I had no expectations on this meet, I just wanted to make the final so to come fifth in a best time is brilliant.

Renshaw took the battle of the Brits and shaved nearly two seconds off the time she set in the morning heats, finishing fifth overall with an English record and British junior record time of 2.22.86.

“It was great to get out there in a senior final and to get a new personal best is a great feeling,” she said. “I had no expectations on this meet, I just wanted to make the final so to come fifth in a best time is brilliant.”

She beat the time she set one week ago at The Midland Short Course Championships.

Well done Molly!
