SportPark Requirements for Visitors

Last week we notified you about the changes that will be implemented over the summer at the entrance and exit point at SportPark.

If you are expecting any external visitors between 10 June and 10 August, you will need to provide University Security with the following information, as part of the enhanced security measures being implemented on campus:

  • Date of the visit/meeting/event.
  • Names of all visitors (or of the main contact, if you are expecting a large group of visitors, e.g. a school visit).
  • Who they are visiting at the SportPark
  • Where the visit/meeting/event is taking place

You should also ask all external visitors to ensure they bring photographic identification with them. Large groups of visitors, particularly those involving school pupils, should ensure that the main contact for the group has a letter of authorisation from the department that has organised their visit.

If you can provide University Security with details of the visitors' vehicles (e.g. registration numbers) that will assist in ensuring that they are able to enter the campus as efficiently as possible.

Further information on all the University's 2012-related activity, is  available on the new Team GB Preparation Camp information section on the Knowledge Base area of the intranet.
