City of Leicester Water Polo Jordan Elliot was one of the stars of the British team in their recent European Junior Championship Qualification Tournament in Istanbul, Turkey.

The 15-year old scored four goals in four matches as the Brits finished third in their group last weekend.

Elliot was the only British player to score twice in their opening match, an 11-6 defeat to Russia, before repeating the feat with two goals in an 8-3 victory over a very physical Bulgarian side.

The Brits won their third match 11-3 against Switzerland before narrowly missing out on qualification to the European Finals with a 16-8 defeat to Turkey.
