Unbeaten in this event since the final leg of the 2010 World Series in Qingdao, China will be heavy favourites to win the women’s 3m Synchro for the 11th consecutive World Series stage.

Four-time Olympic gold medallist Wu Minxia has won this event 17 times in her career and will team up with Shi Tingmao, world 1m Springboard champion, for the second time this season having lifted the title together in Beijing.
Alicia Blagg and Rebecca Gallantree were second behind the Chinese in Beijing, becoming Great Britain’s first female World Series medallists from the springboard in the process.
The British pair gained plenty of international experience last season, finishing 11th at the FINA World Cup, fifth at the European Championships then seventh at the Olympic Games.
They continued their improvement with a 312.24 score to win a third consecutive British title at the start of the season before an international personal best 305.79 for their silver in Beijing.
Ukraine’s European silver medallists Olena Fedorova and Anna Pysmenska are the only other World Series medallists lining up in Edinburgh, having won bronze in Beijing this season and Dubai last year.
Malaysia’s Ng Yan Yee and Cheong Jun Hoong will be aiming for their first medals in their debut World Series season, having failed to pass the 300 mark in fourth and sixth place finishes in Beijing and Dubai respectively.
Finally, Mexico's Laura Sanchez and Daniela Ramirez team up for the first time since 2011 at World Series level.
