Go Swimming has everything you need to know about swimming. If you are a parent, a non swimmer or just want to improve your technique this is the section for you.

In British Swimming you will find information about the world of high performance sport, including the disciplines of Swimming, Diving, Synchronised Swimming, Water Polo and Disability Swimming.

The ASA is the governing body for the sport in England. In this section you will find all you need to know about joining a club or competing in England and becoming a swimming teacher or coach.

The IoS delivers the ASA’s courses and is a member organisation. Whether you are a teacher, coach, employer or club you will find everything you need to know about qualifications or educating your workforce.

COACHES DEVELOPMENT DAYS ANNOUNCED

The ASA North West Region have announced the dates of the Coaches Development Days in Cumbria and Lancashire.

The programme for the day consists of 3 x 1.5 hour workshops and 1x 1.5 hour pool session

VOLUNTEERS; Your Opportunity to Tell the ASA What You Think

Are you part of the aquatic community and want to get your hands on two tickets to the 2013 British Gas Swimming Championships?

The ASA have recently launched a national survey looking at the Technical Officials pathway within the swimming discipline. They are investigating the associated barriers with the pathway and to further understand the motivation of volunteers to become Technical Officials.

New Format for Recording Swimming Officials Personal Contact Details

The new format is still in the testing phase for all the officials in the North West and everyone should have had an e-mail explaining the system and how to log on etc.
Should officials not have received an e-mail explaining the system then they can contact Mark Davies via officials@swimcheshire.org stating their membership number, name and correct/current e-mail address. Mark will then get the system updated and they will then be able to log on in the manner described in the attached document, which I would also ask is uploaded to your respective web sites.
