ASA North West Region Annual Council Meeting
The Annual Council Meeting will take place on Saturday 17th September 2016 at Holiday Inn Express (previously Park Inn), Sale Way, Leigh WN7 4JY commencing at 10.30 hours.
10.30 Annual Council Meeting commences
The programme for the day will be:-
- A consideration of proposals for Rule Changes
- A consideration of proposals and resolutions received from clubs
- To elect the following
- Region President and Vice President
- *Region Management Board Members
- *Region Delegates to 2016 ASA Council Meeting
At the 2016 ASA North West Region Council Meeting the Region is seeking to fill 3 vacancies on the Region Management Board.
If you are interested in applying for a position on the Management Board then please complete a nomination form and return it to the Regional Office. You will then be sent a skills matrix form to complete and return. By the use of this skills matrix information the region is able to identify areas where it is necessary to strengthen skills within the Board composition.
Only nominations for the positions (* above) should be submitted to the Regional Office in writing using the enclosed nomination form including a Personal Profile or Resume (no more than 1 side of A4) by 30th June 2016.
All nominees must be a member of a club affiliated to the ASA North West Region.
Proposer and Seconder must be from different clubs
Proposed Changes to ASA North West Rules should also be submitted to the Regional Office by 30th June 2016.
All proposals and resolutions to be presented to the Council meeting should be submitted to the Regional Office by 30th June 2016.
The Agenda together with the Annual Report and any proposed rules changes will be issued to clubs at the end of July 2016
