In British Swimming you will find information about the world of high performance sport, including the disciplines of Swimming, Diving, Synchronised Swimming, Water Polo and Para-Swimming.

The ASA is the governing body for the sport in England. In this section you will find all you need to know about joining a club or competing in England and becoming a swimming teacher or coach.

The IoS delivers the ASA’s courses and is a member organisation. Whether you are a teacher, coach, employer or club you will find everything you need to know about qualifications or educating your workforce.

At the 2013 ASA North West Region Council Meeting the Region is

-          seeking to fill five vacancies on the Region Management Board.  Retiring Members of the Board are eligible for re-election.
-          seeking to fill a vacancy for the Regional Representative to ASA Board.

The Region is looking for people who have both:-

• Skills and experience within the sport
• Technical and managerial skills and experience

to enhance the experience already within the Management Board to help the Region forward for the future.

If you are interested in applying for a position on the Management Board then please complete a nomination form and return it to the Regional Office. You will then be sent a skills matrix form to complete and return.  By the use of this skills matrix information the region is able to identify areas where it is necessary to strengthen skills within the Board composition.

All nominations forms must be returned to the Swimnorthwest Office no later than 28th June 2013
