Re-Opening of Victoria Baths, Manchester

Join Victoria Baths to mark a decade of achievement.

It’s been ten years since Victoria Baths won BBC's Restoration Project and a lot has been achieved since then.

Victoria Baths is now a busy, vibrant heritage venue so there is plenty to celebrate, including the installation earlier this year of the new stained glass panels in the Gala Pool (the large AQUA window together with seven Lilies windows all of which were funded by individual donors).

To demonstrate their ultimate goal of a fully restored and operational swimming pool and Turkish Baths, they are filling the Gala Pool specially for the day and inviting well known synchronised swimming group Aquabatix to perform.

Doors will open at 10:00am with tea and coffee available.  The formal proceedings will take place between 10.45-11.45pm with Lucy Powell MP unveiling the AQUA window and the Aquabatix performance, followed by refreshments. The inaugural meeting of the newly formed Historic Pools Network will take place in the afternoon with invited representatives from across the UK.

Please email us on vipevents@victoriabaths.org.ukto let us know if you are coming by no later than the 27th August.

We look forward to welcoming you to Victoria Baths on the 4th of September.
