Stalybridge Swimming Club, based in the North West, is an ASA swim21 Essential club, having first gained the NGB kite mark in 2012.
The main reasons that the club decided to undertake swim21 was to ensure they were following correct guidelines, especially in relation to dealing with children, to ensure their volunteers were appropriately qualified and to be recognised as a quality club locally/nationally.

City of Manchester Water Polo Club are looking to recruit 3 assistant coaches to complement the existing coaching team.
Entries are now open for the National Para Swimming Championships, 12-13 December 2015 at Manchester Aquatics Centre. This event is coordinated by the English Federation of Disability Sport, in partnership with British Para Swimming.
This year’s Championships will be a long course event and will form part of British Para Swimming’s road to Rio. Entries are open to all S1-S15 swimmers with a national or international classification.

The Club Coach Developer Programme is aimed at supporting and developing coaches, within their own coaching environment, without having to attend workshops at other venues and times.
Talent Foundation Series (TFS)
This is aimed at high-performing coaches (level 3 and above, or aspiring L3 coaches) from ALL sports, who are coaching Greater Manchester’s most talented performers.
Successful candidates will have a keen interest in developing themselves as a coach, and be willing to share good practice with other sports attending the programme. To take away the best bits, improving their coaching and talent systems.
