Nominations have opened for the ASA Aquatics Awards 2016, the annual celebration of volunteers, athletes, Clubs, Swim Schools and facility operators.

The Awards will be held on Saturday, 26 November in the prestigious Great Hall at the University of Birmingham.

ASA Chief Executive, Adam Paker, said: “The ASA Aquatics Awards bring together people from across all areas of aquatics to celebrate the achievements of those unsung heroes who dedicate so much of their time to teaching, coaching, supporting and participating in our sport.
“We have an incredible range of people involved in swimming and our aquatics sports. This event plays an important role in highlighting all the great work that members of the aquatics community do every day to help the ASA achieve our vision of a nation swimming.”

Set in the University’s original late-Victorian red brick building, the Grand Hall will provide the perfect backdrop to the Awards, which includes a celebration lunch.

Putting this policy into practice to achieve these outcomes will mean significant change for Sport England and for our partners.
