Nominate a Volunteer for an 2014 Aquaforce Award

M80o93H7pQ09L8X1t49cHY01Z5j4TT91fGfr

The ASA would like to take this opportunity to recognise and thank the thousands of fantastic volunteers who are involved in aquatics across the country. Without your continued support, the landscape of aquatics would be a far cry from what we see today.

It is no secret that volunteers are the lifeblood of our aquatic clubs, whether it is the volunteer who enthusiastically manages the front desk, or the volunteer coach who tirelessly runs training sessions. No volunteer contribution should go unnoticed.

Why not take the opportunity to say thank you to the unsung heroes of our sport. Everyone can nominate and anyone can be nominated! Why not make someone’s day today.

Nominations will close on the 21 July 2014 at 12:00pm. Late nominations may not be accepted.

SwimBritain Registration Now Open

M160o93H7pQ09L8X1t49cHY01Z5j4TT91fGfr

Supported by a host of big-name swimmers including fellow London 2012 medallists Ellie Simmonds, Michael Jamieson and Rebecca Adlington alongside comedian David Walliams.

SwimBritain is a series of fun team relays that are taking place this September which hopes to inspire 500,000 people across Britain to swim more regularly – and get fit!

There are two ways to take on the challenge; SwimBritain1000 is a four-person relay where each team member swims 250m four times around a specially-designed course in a dedicated 50m pool. SwimBritain 500 is a shorter distance where team members use the same course, swimming half the distance (125m four times).

Registrations are now open.
