Swim England North West release their 2017 - 2021 Strategy Document
The date for the these championships has been announced:-

Closing date: 2nd September
There will be a physical classification opportunity available at this competition. Swimmers wishing to be considered for classification are asked to submit their entries before the 12th August.

Athletes from the North West Region are amongst a 29 strong British Swimming team that has been selected to compete at this summer’s FINA World Championships in Budapest.
From the 1st April 2017 the Amateur Swimming Association will be known as Swim England.
Swim England will continue to be the national governing body for swimming in England.
The North West will be known as Swim England North West and will continue to support and deliver the Swim England Strategy

Swim England North West in line with Swim England Talent Program is to clearly define, align and generate a cohesive pathway within our sport whilst effectively developing and supporting the ‘team’ of :-
Coaches, Team Managers, Sports Science/Medicine Practitioners and Parents/Guardians who in turn develop and support swimmers.
During 2017 there are a number of opportunities for individuals to get involved in in the programmes that are on offer
The ASA has announced a change to the swim21 club Essential module accreditation after feedback from the annual ASA Club Survey.
The survey illustrated that more tha 60 per cent of clubs wanted to see swim21 Essential extended from a rolling annual programme to a two-year accreditation with simplified health check.
This will be implemented by a recently-established swim21 Working Group over the next few months.
After 10 years the region appoint a New License Officer - Jane Whittle.
