Cockermouth swimmer Luke Greenbank achieves GOLD in the 200m Backstroke.
A huge thank you to all delegates who attended the ASA Club Conferences on 21/22 June and 5/6 July 2014. The events were held at four regional locations across the country and staged a unique platform for dynamic learning between both ASA staff and club delegates.
The ASA North West Region are pleased to announce the appointment of 2 new officers to help and support the clubs, local associations, county associations in delivering aquatics in the region.
The new officers commenced their roles on Monday 9th June 2014.
The new officers will work in partnership with Sarah Darragh, ASA Club Development Officer, to ensure that all aquatic sports are supported with regards to Workforce Development, Swim21, Funding applications.

In preparation for the 2014 membership year, the insurance provided to the ASA/SASA/WASA/IOS, its affiliated clubs and members, has been reviewed and a new policy and insurer will be in place from April 2014.

The National Deaf Children’s Society and the Amateur Swimming Association (ASA) have teamed up to create the Deaf-Friendly Swimming i-Learn course to help coaches become more deaf aware.
