The ASA is the governing body for the sport in England. In this section you will find all you need to know about joining a club or competing in England and becoming a swimming teacher or coach.

The IoS delivers the ASA’s courses and is a member organisation. Whether you are a teacher, coach, employer or club you will find everything you need to know about qualifications or educating your workforce.

ASA NWR Announce the Inter Association Boys Academy Teams

45 boys , born 1997 and younger, from all over the North West trialed for the North West Tigers and North West Raven team which will take part in the 2012 Inter Regional Academy Boys’ Water Polo Championships.

After four trial sessions and a lot of hard work from both the players and the coaching staff 26 boys were successful in making it to be a ‘Tiger’ or a ‘Raven’.

A big thank you must go out to all the players who attended the trials and to all the parents who have travelled around the North West.

We have used more venues this time than ever and we also would like to thank, Salt Ayre Sports Centre Lancaster, Manchester Aquatics Centre, Liverpool Aquatic Centre, Lancaster University and Blackpool Aquatic Centre for finding us pool time to run trials and sessions.

The tournament takes place on the 25th and 26th February at Gloucester for the North West Tigers and Newport for the North West Ravens.

The North West ‘Tigers’ will take on West Midlands, South West, North East, and Ireland  and the North West ‘Ravens’ will take on London, Wales, East, Scotland and South East.
