Essential Knowledge and Experience

Key skills, experience and qualifications required:

  • Administration Experience with ability to use excel, outlook , word and PowerPoint
  • Effective communication and organisationalskills
  • Ability to Work to under own directionWilling to undertake any training considered appropriate to the post
  • Understanding and appreciation of the need to respect confidentiality
  • Able to follow procedures and work closely with the other team members
  • Technical Knowledge in the sport of Water Polo

 

  • Desirable Knowledge and experience
  • Exposure to working within sport Development
  • Knowledge of sport within Manchester

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the coaching of the Women’s teams throughout the club
  • In conjunction with the management group identify areas where Water Polo can be developed and coordinate and implement a strategic plan.
  • Coordinating the delivery of Water Polo development and training in a specific community or to targeted groups
  • Coordinating coaches and volunteer staff
  • Evaluating and monitoring activities and projects using performance indicators
  • Maintaining records and producing written reports to Manchester City Council and City of Manchester Water Polo Committee
  • Checking venues and facilities where projects are ongoing
  • Managing Water Polo equipment/resources for COMWPC
  • Working within specific guidelines, e.g. equal opportunities, health and safety, child protection
  • Undertaking any other task as directed by COMWPC management
