Go Swimming has everything you need to know about swimming. If you are a parent, a non swimmer or just want to improve your technique this is the section for you.

In British Swimming you will find information about the world of high performance sport, including the disciplines of Swimming, Diving, Synchronised Swimming, Water Polo and Disability Swimming.

The ASA is the governing body for the sport in England. In this section you will find all you need to know about joining a club or competing in England and becoming a swimming teacher or coach.

The IoS delivers the ASA’s courses and is a member organisation. Whether you are a teacher, coach, employer or club you will find everything you need to know about qualifications or educating your workforce.

Talent Criteria for all Disciplines

Swimming

All swimmers selected for any British Swimming squads, teams or training groups.

Plus any swimmer achieving talent pool qualifying times in Olympic Events for age groups from 10 - 30 years old.

Diving

All divers selected for any British Swimming squads, teams or training groups and all competing divers at the British Championships.

Water Polo

All players selected for any British Swimming squads, teams or training groups.

  • Level 2 and 3 England Talent Programmes

Synchronised Swimming

All swimmers selected for any British Swimming squads, teams or training groups.

Athletes achieving Skill level 5 competing in solo events at the British Championships.

Swimmers achieving target skill level in the competitive strand at National Age Group Competition.

Disability

All swimmers selected for any British Swimming squads, teams or training groups.

All classified swimmers aged 10 - 19 years.
