The IoS delivers the ASA’s courses and is a member organisation. Whether you are a teacher, coach, employer or club you will find everything you need to know about qualifications or educating your workforce.

           What is RPL?

  • OFQUAL define RPL as “A method of assessment that considers whether a learner can demonstrate that they can meet the assessment requirements for a unit through knowledge, understanding or skills they already posses and do not need to develop through a course of learning
  • In simple terms it is a programme which assesses you against the current ASA qualifications taking into account previous qualifications and teaching/coaching experience
  • It is ideal for individuals who have experience of teaching or coaching
