British Gas and TVC win prestigious SABRE Award

British Gas and their PR Agency TVC were recognised on an international level last night as their sponsorship of British Swimming won a prestigious SABRE Award.
The SABRE Awards are the world’s largest awards competition for the public relations industry and the British Gas and TVC partnership scooped their prize at the Europe, Middle East and African regional presentation in Prague.
The partnership beat a number of renowned brands and agencies to gold in the Sponsorship category including Coca-Cola and Tom Tom.
TVC’s online digital news distribution service DNA was also named PR Product of the Year on the night.
British Gas has enjoyed a successful two years since signing a six-year sponsorship deal with British Swimming in March 2009, earning praise for their promotion of swimming through the Great Swim Series, Pools 4 Schools and Swimfit.
