The ASA is the governing body for the sport in England. In this section you will find all you need to know about joining a club or competing in England and becoming a swimming teacher or coach.

The IoS delivers the ASA’s courses and is a member organisation. Whether you are a teacher, coach, employer or club you will find everything you need to know about qualifications or educating your workforce.

British Gas nominated for three Sports Industry Awards

British Swimming’s Principal Partner British Gas has been shortlisted in three categories for the prestigious 2011 Sports Industry Awards.

With more than 60 key industry figures judging, British Gas has been nominated for:

Best Use of PR in a Sport Campaign
Best Sponsorship of a Sport Team or Individual
Best Integrated Sport Marketing Campaign

The nominees will now go forward to a second judging panel with the winners announced at a star-studded awards ceremony on 11 May.
