Bill Furniss

Furniss won the Coach of the Year award after helping Rebecca Adlington to one of the most impressive Olympic performances in recent years. The Double Olympic Champion Adlington, after her triumph at the Games in Beijing, stated: "if it hadn’t been for him, I wouldn’t be here today."

One of the most established young coaches in Great Britain. Ben currently works with Liam Tancock and his list of national champions both in Britain and abroad is growing everyday.

Kelly coached marathon swimmers Keri-Anne Payne and Cassie Patten to medals at the Beijing Olympic Games and four years earlier took Steve Parry to a medal in Athens.
