A Vision for Swimming

Swimming is one of the few activities that can be enjoyed by everyone throughout their life. British Swimming, the ASA, Scottish Swimming and Swim Wales support a shared vision for the sport.

The Vision for Swimming is a document for the whole sport and activity of swimming. The Vision is based on the fundamental priority of ensuring swimming is accessible to all, regardless of age, gender, creed, ethnic origin, sexual orientation, economic position, disability and level of ability.

The aims and objectives will be set out in detail in strategic and corporate plans owned individually by British Swimming, the ASA, Scottish Swimming and Swim Wales.
