SportPark Library
ASA Library has new home, SportPark, the new home of of British Swimming and the ASA. For many years the ASA library which used to be situated at Harold Fern House has been tucked away in boxes, on shelves, out of the way for many to be able to see or research.
With the move to new premises at SportPark British Swimming and the ASA can at last announce that the library has a new permanent home situated on the first floor of Pavilion 3 at SportPark.
The old Minute Books, Handbooks and Swimming Times along with other books associated with our sport have been catalogued, as have old swimming programmes, newspaper articles, pictures, videos, medals and much more going back into the last two centuries.
Although this is still an ongoing process we would like to offer a service to people researching our sport to be able to come along and visit us to help with the research into books, degrees, or perhaps the history of their club.
