Raise money for your club with easyfundraising

A simple and effective way to help raise money for your aquatics club is through the easyfundraising website.

Once your club is registered with easyfundraising, your members, friends and family can all start fundraising for you, simply by shopping online.

Each time one of your supporters, who is registered with the site, uses one of more than 3,100 online shops, the club will then receive a free donation from that retailer.

Whether it's hotels, flights, electronics, sports kit, or even groceries, your club members could be earning money for the club.

More than 600 swimming clubs in England currently use the service. So act now and join them to start raising money today.

Seven Steps To Success With Easyfundraising

Easyfundraising have provided a seven-point guide for swimming clubs to make the most out of their fundraising website. Click here to download a PDF copy.

  1. Register your club at swimming.easyfundraising.org.uk.
It takes a matter of minutes and you will be all set. It could take up to two days for your club to be validated with easyfundraising.
  2. Have a go yourself.
It’s useful to understand how easyfundraising works, even if you don't have anything to buy. Click play on the video at the top of the page to find out how it works. The good news is, it's really easy!
  3. Your cause page.
You have your own easyfundraising page link to share with your supporters (members, coaches, colleagues). This will show them how to sign up in support and will show how much the club has raised so far. Once registered, complete your cause page by adding your logo and a good description of what your club does and is raising for.
  4. Talk to a fundraising coach.
Talk to one of easyfundraising's friendly fundraising coaches who can guide you around the website and advise on how to make easyfundraising work for your club. The call will only take 10 minutes and causes who talk to our fundraising coaches typically raise over twice as much! Click here to book a call.
  5. Recruit new supporters.
You now need to drum up support for the club and you can start with ready-made tools we have available to you once signed up. Add your cause page link to ready made social posts, posters, flyers and handout cards.
  6. Keep banging the drum.
It's important to help spur on your supporters to keep raising with regular reminders and updates. Don't do it alone - all supporters have access to the range of emails & newsletters, Facebook & Twitter posts, posters and flyers and lots more to make it easy to remind everyone.
  7. Other ways you and your supporters can raise.
The site has a 'Donation Reminder' which helps you remember easyfundraising every time you shop online by telling you which retailers offer donations when you visit their sites. They also have an Easyfundraising App which is a free app for your iPad or Iphone. You can see recent activity and how much you have raised.
