Positive Feedback

Not sure if you should host your own Get Safe 4 Summer event? Well just read some of the positive campaign feedback!

The Get Safe 4 Summer campaign has seen many huge successes. Here are some examples of positive feedback the campaign has received previously:

Nigel Roylance, Assistant Headteacher at Skegness Grammar School Sports College

"I salute the ASA on a wonderful event, an excellent day and a lot of contented and more informed pupils. And what's more the ASA even managed to order perfect weather!"

Paul Baker, St Meriadoc Junior School

"The Get Safe 4 Summer day was superbly resourced and full of fantastic ideas and events for the children and adults to enjoy. We had a marvellous time in assembly the following day describing the events we took part in and the various messages from the professional bodies there."

Paul Harrington, Swimming Teacher at Epic Leisure Centre

What a wonderful opportunity for local children. If more children were made aware of the dangers and risks that surround water and water-based activities, it may be possible to reduce the number of drownings that occur each year.

The ASA’s Get Safe 4 Summer campaign is a fantastic idea, giving children from local schools the opportunity to learn about water safety and have fun at the same time. Let’s hope we all have fun this summer and enjoy ourselves on, around and in the water.

Fiona Hughes, Area Manager at Hambleton District Council

"It is a fantastic event that ASA/RLSS do and really gets the message across to the children in a fun way."
