Clubs at the heart of the ASA

13 June 2012

Clubs are at the heart of the ASA – they are what really make a difference to the continued success of swimming in this country, and that’s the thinking behind the theme of this year’s ASA Swimming Conference in October.

The ASA Swimming Conference 2012
Clubs at the heart of the ASA

9.00am – 4.00pm, Saturday 13th October 2012, Crowne Plaza, Nottingham

We very much value the contribution of our clubs and members and provide the opportunity via our annual ASA Swimming Conference for you to get the chance to talk to us and discuss how we can work together to drive the sport’s future development.

The key aim of this year’s conference is to highlight the ASA strategy for 2013 through to 2017.  But we don’t want to just present the strategy – we would like you to engage with us to help determine the objectives and how it’s going to work.  It’s your chance to have a real contribution and influence on the way ASA clubs will develop over the next four years.

It's an excellent opportunity for two-way dialogue between staff and delegates on the day and you and your club members will get the chance to be actively involved in the formation of the long term strategy and specify how you want the ASA to help and support you.

As well as hearing guest speakers from the world of swimming, all delegates will have the opportunity to attend workshops and visit the ‘market place’ where you  will be able to chat to ASA staff or other experts on any matters that concern you.

Keep the date free, and watch this space for confirmed timings and full details which will be announced nearer the time.
