Support future Olympic stars at the ASA’s biggest event of the year

The highly successful British Gas ASA National Age Group Championships and Youth Championships are the ASA’s biggest participation events, attracting more than 1,200 young swimmers… and you could be there to cheer them on.

The athletes competing at these championships are aged between 11 and 17-years-old and many will hold the key to the future success of British Swimming. Several of the Olympic squad embarked on their Championship journey competing in the Age Group and Youth events.

Taking place at Ponds Forge International Sports Centre in Sheffield, swimmers will compete for national honours.

The British Gas ASA National Age Group Championships take place over five days from Wednesday 28th July and will showcase the best swimming talent in the boys 11-14 and girls 11-13 age groups.

The British Gas ASA National Youth Championships run from Tuesday 3rd August – Saturday 7th August and feature boys aged 15-18 and girls aged 14 -17 years. 

Tickets cost £4 per day for adults and £3.50 for concessions with full event tickets available for £30 and £26 for concessions.

Swimmers who have the required qualifying times still have time to enter the event (if they haven’t already) with entries closing on Wednesday 30th June for the British Gas ASA National Age Group Championships and Wednesday 7th July for the British Gas ASA National Youth Championships.
