The ASA is the governing body for the sport in England. In this section you will find all you need to know about joining a club or competing in England and becoming a swimming teacher or coach.

The IoS delivers the ASA’s courses and is a member organisation. Whether you are a teacher, coach, employer or club you will find everything you need to know about qualifications or educating your workforce.

Entries now open for ASA Masters Champs

Entries for the British Gas ASA National Masters and Senior Age Group Championships 2014 are now open!

The event, held on the 24 – 26 October 2014, is the pinnacle of the national masters short course calendar. Over the three days of competition expect World, European and British records to tumble, as over 1000 competitors fight it out in the pool to be crowned this year’s champions!

The closing date for individual entries is: 12 noon Wednesday 1 October

The closing date for relay entries is: 12 noon Wednesday 8 October

Don't forget spectator entry is completely free of charge, so make sure your family and friends have the date in their diary to come along and watch the action.
