The ASA is the governing body for the sport in England. In this section you will find all you need to know about joining a club or competing in England and becoming a swimming teacher or coach.

The IoS delivers the ASA’s courses and is a member organisation. Whether you are a teacher, coach, employer or club you will find everything you need to know about qualifications or educating your workforce.

Titles decided at Age Group Championships

Lancaster showed their dominance at The British Gas ASA Water Polo Age Group Championship Finals earlier today as they claimed the title in the Junior Boys Final.

Taking place at the Manchester Aquatics Centre the Boys and Girls teams, representing the best of the country’s Water Polo talent, took centre stage as they fought for national honours in the Youth (16 and under) and Junior (18 and under) Finals.

The Girls Youth Final saw City of Liverpool take the title over City of Manchester in a match finishing 6-4. But Manchester got their revenge in the Girls Junior Final when they overcame Liverpool 5-4 to claim victory.

On the Boys side Lancaster claimed the Junior title after a 17-14 over Birmingham. With the Youth title going to Dunfermline who scored 14 goals to Lancaster’s 12.
