In British Swimming you will find information about the world of high performance sport, including the disciplines of Swimming, Diving, Synchronised Swimming, Water Polo and Para-Swimming.

The ASA is the governing body for the sport in England. In this section you will find all you need to know about joining a club or competing in England and becoming a swimming teacher or coach.

The IoS delivers the ASA’s courses and is a member organisation. Whether you are a teacher, coach, employer or club you will find everything you need to know about qualifications or educating your workforce.

Stage set for County Team Champs

This month Ponds Forge will again play host to one of the most colourful events in the swimming calendar, the British Gas ASA National County Team Championships.

Click here for links to live results from Ponds Forge.20 Division One and 19 Division Two teams will battle it out to be crowned Intercounty Champions. 2012 saw Lancashire retain their Division One crown for the 11th consecutive year, in one of the most hotly contested competitions yet. The top four teams in Division Two, Swim Wales West, Worcestershire, Sussex and Swim Wales East showed impressive form for promotion to Division One.

Taking place on Sunday 20th October, the 2013 event promises to be thrilling as always with London 2012 Olympian Siobhan-Marie O’Connor (Somerset) and junior international medallists Molly Renshaw (Derbyshire) and James Guy (Somerset) in the mix.

Tickets will be available on the door at a cost of £4.50 for adults and £3.50 concessions (under 16s and over 60s).

The Opening Ceremony will take place at 11:30am.
