Get ready for the ultimate synchro showdown
16 March 2016
This weekend, singer Will Young and comedian Russell Kane will be showcasing their artistic flair and impressive acrobatic abilities in a synchronised swimming face off at the London Aquatics Centre.
Their performance makes up part of the Sport Relief’s Clash of the Titans event at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park on Friday 18 March.
Celebrity teams, headed up by Sir Steve Redgrave and Freddie Flintoff, are preparing for the ultimate sporting showdown, in which they will battle it out across a selection of exciting sporting events to raise money for Sport Relief. The events will take place at the iconic London Aquatics Centre and the Lee Valley VeloPark.
The teams are made up of Paddy McGuinness, Sophie Raworth, Harry Judd, Dan Snow, Clara Amfo, Will Young, Mark Wright, EastEnders’ Maddy Hill, Darren Gough, and comedians Hugh Dennis and Russell Kane.
Paddy McGuinness will take on pop-rock prince Harry Judd in the wrestling bout of the decade, and the Velodrome will see two broadcasting legends, Radio 1's Clara Amfo and newsreader Sophie Raworth, go head-to-head in a spectacular cycling skirmish.
There are still tickets left for the Velodrome, so if you want to experience the action first hand, you can purchase them here.
Don't forget, you can also catch all of the action at home by tuning in to Sport Relief on BBC One.
