BINGOLOTTO CANCELLED DUE TO POOR SALES

07 Oct 2009

BingoLotto, the TV game that was launched last month by the CCPR to raise funds for grassroot sport, has been suspended due to poor ticket sales.

BingoLotto pledged to give 40p from every £2 game card sold at Tesco to good causes, last year the ASA benefitted from £1,000 which was used to fund volunteer initiatives.

The ASA would like to thank clubs that gave their support to BingoLotto and the CCPR for the time and resources they have committed to the project.
