Go Swimming has everything you need to know about swimming. If you are a parent, a non swimmer or just want to improve your technique this is the section for you.

In British Swimming you will find information about the world of high performance sport, including the disciplines of Swimming, Diving, Synchronised Swimming, Water Polo and Para-Swimming.

The ASA is the governing body for the sport in England. In this section you will find all you need to know about joining a club or competing in England and becoming a swimming teacher or coach.

The IoS delivers the ASA’s courses and is a member organisation. Whether you are a teacher, coach, employer or club you will find everything you need to know about qualifications or educating your workforce.

ONE DAY LEFT BEFORE ENTRIES CLOSE ON BRITISH GAS MASTERS

There is only one day left to get your entries in for the British Gas ASA Masters and Senior Age Group Championships (25m) 2009, which will be held at Ponds Forge, Sheffield.

The three-day competition, which takes place between Friday 23rd and Sunday 25th October, will see people competing in 50m, 100m and 200m for all strokes, 400m, 800m and 1500m freestyle, 100m, 200m and 400m IM and 4 x 50m relays medley and freestyle for men, women and mixed.

Individual events are open to 18-24 year olds and all Masters. Relay events open to 72 years+ and all Masters.

Throughout the weekend a 'How to design a swim session' seminar and a timekeepers course will be running as well as the ever-popular Pasta Party on Saturday night.

You may enter a maximum of nine (9) individual events. If you enter more then all your entries will be rejected. These are charged at £4.75 per event plus £20 registration fee per swimmer.

The deadline for entries is 5pm tomorrow (Wednesday 23rd September).
