Only one week to enter School Swimathon 2014

17 January 2014

Places are quickly filling for School Swimathon 2014, so make sure you secure your class a place and sign up by 24th January.

The Swimathon Foundation and the ASA have joined forces to help pupils across the country to ‘Swim their Best’. School Swimathon is a swimming programme for school children to improve technique and water confidence, building to a final challenge to swim further than ever before.  Last year 4,500 school children across England stepped up to the challenge of using their national curriculum weekly swim sessions to improve their swimming ability in the first ever School Swimathon in the Spring term of 2013.

Your school will receive a swimming hat for each pupil and an A2 wall chart for every participating class to track your pupils progress and help them achieve bronze, silver and gold stars. Plus your school will also have the chance to win some fantastic prizes, such as equipment vouchers or even a visit from an Olympian to help inspire your pupils.

Register your school today at www.schoolswimathon.org. The deadline for registrations is fast approaching so don’t miss your chance to get involved. Enter before Friday 24th January 2014 to help your pupils ‘Swim their Best’.
