In British Swimming you will find information about the world of high performance sport, including the disciplines of Swimming, Diving, Synchronised Swimming, Water Polo and Para-Swimming.

The ASA is the governing body for the sport in England. In this section you will find all you need to know about joining a club or competing in England and becoming a swimming teacher or coach.

The IoS delivers the ASA’s courses and is a member organisation. Whether you are a teacher, coach, employer or club you will find everything you need to know about qualifications or educating your workforce.

Don’t miss your chance to enter Masters Open Water

The entry system for British Gas ASA Open Water 3km Masters Championships in conjunction with the 2010 East Region Open Water Championships has now opened.

Don’t miss you chance to enter the prestigious National Open Water Swimming event by downloading your entry pack here.

The competition will take place at the Whitlingham Outdoor Education Centre, Norwich and will see the country’s best Open Water swimmers competing for honours.

In last year’s competition Aimee Willmott (Middlesbrough) impressed with a quick time in her age group as she had one of her first tastes of Open Water Swimming.
