Go Swimming has everything you need to know about swimming. If you are a parent, a non swimmer or just want to improve your technique this is the section for you.

In British Swimming you will find information about the world of high performance sport, including the disciplines of Swimming, Diving, Synchronised Swimming, Water Polo and Para-Swimming.

The ASA is the governing body for the sport in England. In this section you will find all you need to know about joining a club or competing in England and becoming a swimming teacher or coach.

The IoS delivers the ASA’s courses and is a member organisation. Whether you are a teacher, coach, employer or club you will find everything you need to know about qualifications or educating your workforce.

Synchronised swimmers prepare for age group champs

With just over a week to go until the start of the ASA British Gas National Age Group Synchronised Swimming championships 2012, this year’s spectacular event will host over 700 synchro stars from up and down the country who will take to the water for an exciting weekend of aquatic dance.

Competition starts Friday 30th November and runs through to Sunday 2nd December at GL1 Leisure Centre in Gloucester. Tickets will be available to purchase on the day of the event.

Event Schedule

  • Friday 30th November – Recreational event (no skill level required to enter)
  • Saturday 1st December – NAG competition
  • Sunday 2nd December  - NAG competition

Tickets (purchase on door)

  • 1 day pass – £7.00 (concessions £5.00)
  • 2 day pass – £13.00 (concession £9.00)
  • Recreational event - £4.00 (concession £3.00)
