The ASA’s Open Water Swim to return for 2012

The ASA have confirmed the popular mass participation 1km Open Water Swim will return bigger and better for 2012.

With entry details set to be released by the end of next week, the event will once again take place in the beautiful Rother Valley Country Park in Sheffield on Sunday 22nd July 2012.

While competitive swimmers can also target glory in the British Gas ASA Open Water Masters Championships or the British Gas ASA National Age Group and Youth Championships on Saturday 21st July, the 1km Open Water swim provides the perfect introduction for newcomers to open water swimming as well as an exciting taste of competition for the seasoned veterans.
