Can your swimmers complete the Big Splash mile faster than you?

2012 is definitely the year of swimming with British swimmers Rebecca Adlington, Hannah Miley and Liam Tancock all securing their places on Team GB at the recent Olympic trials. Inspire your swimmers by challenging them to take part in the Big Splash Mile for Sport Relief.

The ASA is encouraging teachers and coaches across the country to pledge to take part in the Big Splash Mile for Sport Relief, part of the Swimathon Weekend taking place in 650 pools from 27 to 29 April.  By taking part, you can inspire and encourage the swimmers that you coach and teach to swim the mile as a team and challenge yoChallenge your teacher flyeru to the fastest time!

The Challenge!

1. Sign up to swim the Big Splash Mile for Sport Relief individually.

2. Encourage the swimmers that you coach or teach to sign up as a team.

3. Challenge the team to the fastest time!

You'll all have great fun together and feel a great sense of achievement by raising money for people living incredibly tough lives. Leaflets are available for download to help you promote the challenge - simply print copies and take to your sessions.
