New learn to swim resources now available

1st November 2012

The British Gas ASA Learn to Swim Pathway has officially launched and new supporting resources are now available.

A refreshed version of the National Plan for Teaching Swimming (NPTS), the Pathway consists of four Frameworks, including the brand new Adult Swimming Framework for adults looking to learn or improve their skills in the pool.

Centres using the existing NPTS in relation to the existing Frameworks for Foundation, Learn to Swim and Aquatic skills can continue to do so, as the outcomes and recommendations around delivery style have not changed.

Supporting resources include the Framework documents, a Parents Guide, Teachers Toolkit and Games Pack.  Click here to visit the Awards Centre.

To help learn to swim providers attract new customers into their learn to swim programmes, the ASA have produced a range of marketing collateral available on the Marketing Centre.

Find out more information on each of the Frameworks below, or visit our FAQs.
