A new design for aquatic education materials across England, Scotland and Wales has been created in order to give all materials produced across the three home countries a similar look and feel.

A recent review of learn to swim employment has revealed that there should be a move towards teachers and coaches being employed on a full-time basis, with formalised contracts. Currently the typical teacher or coach is a part-time, casual employee.

Diving coaches in England are invited to become the latest to benefit from the Advanced Coaching Offer, an ambitious coaching programme offered in conjunction with the ASA Talent Development team.

There are various types of bursaries and grants available at different levels for all types of candidates – young people, teachers, coaches, clubs, voluntary organisations and their volunteers. The level of funding available varies across the regions but some even pay 100% of the course costs.
