Poolside helper qualification price reduction

30 November 2011

Young people and volunteers will now find a new ASA qualification to qualify them to assist on poolside more accessible.  The certification cost of the ASA helpers certificate qualification has been reduced from £11.50 to £3.85, bringing it in line with the fees for other volunteering training.

This qualification is no longer available. Please click here to visit the Volunteering section to find out the current volunteer training. Appropriate for any aquatic environment, the recently updated course is now more suitable and accessible for volunteers in clubs and will provide an introduction to teaching and coaching as well as how to help a more senior coach or teacher and to be safe on poolside.  Consisting of three hours in the classroom and three hours practical work, the helpers can practice what they have learnt during the course schedule.
