Go Swimming has everything you need to know about swimming. If you are a parent, a non swimmer or just want to improve your technique this is the section for you.

In British Swimming you will find information about the world of high performance sport, including the disciplines of Swimming, Diving, Synchronised Swimming, Water Polo and Para-Swimming.

The ASA is the governing body for the sport in England. In this section you will find all you need to know about joining a club or competing in England and becoming a swimming teacher or coach.

The IoS delivers the ASA’s courses and is a member organisation. Whether you are a teacher, coach, employer or club you will find everything you need to know about qualifications or educating your workforce.

The 2014 Aquaforce Awards are now open

The Aquaforce Awards are back for another year, and we are looking for even more of you to recognise and thank the unsung heroes of our sport!

It is no secret that volunteers are the lifeblood of our aquatic clubs, whether it is the volunteer who enthusiastically manages the front desk, or the volunteer coach who tirelessly runs training sessions. No volunteer contribution should go unnoticed!

EVERYONE can nominate and ANYONE can be nominated! Why not make someone’s day today?

Aquaforce Awards are available in the following categories:

  • Club Volunteer of the Year
  • Outstanding Contribution by a Young Volunteer
  • Outstanding Contribution to Swimming in the Community
  • Outstanding County or Regional Contribution
  • Services to Officials’ Development
  • Volunteer Teacher/Coach of the Year
  • Celebrating Excellence in Club Volunteering – Club Award

Nominations will close on the 21 July at 12:00pm. Late nominations may not be accepted.
