ASA and British Swimming Entry Fees
In 2006 British Swimming and ASA aligned their policy on fees for events to ensure parity. To find out more about the fees for 2010-2011 read on.
While aligning their policies on the costs for entering events, the ASA and British Swimming also agreed to increase entry fees every two years by 25p providing inflation remained broadly the same.
The British Swimming Board has agreed to retain this agreement and to raise fees by 25p in 2010 for a two-year period to the end of 2011. The only exceptions to this are as follows:
- Masters: a revised charging methodology has been agreed with the Masters committee to encourage swimmers to participate in a higher number of events. It is recommended that no change is made to these fees in 2010 and 2011.
- Synchronised Swimming – Trio. The cost of this event in 2008 and 2009 was higher than the team event and therefore this anomaly has been addressed.
